3M Floor Machine Pads
3M floor machine pads for top quality rotary scrubbing, polishing or buffing on hardsurface and resilient floors. Pads are available for several sizes of swing machines, sizes 13, 17, 19, 20 inch diameters plus manual 14x20 red pad and 5x10 white polishing pad to fit the Renown doodle pad holder which fits onto a standards broom handle. Many flooring manufacturers include 3M Pads in specifications for floor maintenance procedures because of the 3M brand name that provides reliable performance. Machine pads can be purchased individually, or save more when you purchase by the box quantity. 3M Pads fit rotary floor machines that take pads from 13 to 20 inches. Use 3M Red Buffer Pads (5100) for buffing, 3M White Super Polish Pads (4100) for polishing and Blue Cleaner Pads (5300) for daily cleaning depending upon the floor type.

When cleaning most VCT, sheet vinyl and ceramic or porcelain tile floors you can typically use blue pads for cleaning. Luxury vinyl sheet, plank and tile floors often do best when you stay with white or red pads for cleaning and buffing as the blue may be too abrasive. Linoleum and Rubber flooring are more sensitive types of flooring and require the use of only white or red pads.
Flooring manufacturer provided maintenance instructions will usually indicate the right 3M pad to use for finish removal, cleaning, buffing and burnishing, as applicable.
