Kahrs Combo System Underlayment, 100 sq ft
Product Description
All in one underlayment with overlap seal in a 30 foot long roll covers 100 square feet for wood flooring install. Reduces sound, provides moisture protection under Kahrs floating floors, and holds its shape under heavy loads. Kährs Combo System Underlayment provides a moisture barrier with mold reducing properties for use over concrete subfloor. Integral overlap flaps on Combo underlayment guards the wood flooring from moisture at the seams where the overlap flap has a peel and stick strip to aid the installation process. Sound rated Combo underlayment floor material is constructed of two-ply polyethylene film with flexible polystyrene granules sandwiched between to form a dual moisture barrier.
Combo System underlayer is approved for use under Kahrs floating wood floors installed over radiant floor heating. Two size rolls of Kahrs Combo underlayer are available. This roll covers floor area up to 100 square feet and the larger roll provides up to 630 square feet of floor coverage. Account for required cuts, overlap and wall run-up when figuring the number of underlayment rolls needed to complete the flooring job.
Kährs floating floor installation over radiant floor heat system must use either Kahrs Combo Underlayment or QuietStride Underlayment. These products are warranty approved for Radiant Heat installations with the exception of Activity Floor.
