Duchateau LVT plank floors are easy to maintain resilient floors in a variety of natural looking wood styles. Keeping the Luxury Vinyl Tile clean is easy with a mop & 2-bucket cleaning system or with a low rpm swing machine or autoscrubber and a high quality neutral floor cleaner to remove dirt buildup, such as Hilway Direct Neutral Cleaner or Bona Professional Series LVT Cleaner. Floor polish or finish is not required on Duchateau luxury vinyl but it is safe to apply when desired. Matte and Satin level finishes are best suited on Duchateau Luxury Vinyl Tile to compliment the natural appearance of the floor plank designs. Hilway Direct has several finishes to choose from including an excellent no-shine Matte and a pleasing Satin sheen -both acrylic floor polishes. Other brands of floor finishes should be tested prior to full use to ensure compatibility and desired results. Initial floor cleaning can begin immediately for floating floor installations. For glue-down vinyl Duchateau floors, wait at least 7 days so the adhesive has time to fully cure before wet washing or scrubbing the floor. Protect floors from scratches and scuffing during furniture moves by using moving aids with felt bottoms or protecting the floor from rolling loads with plywood or Masonite. Permanent furnishings that move on a luxury vinyl floor should be fitted with high quality felt pads to protect against routine scrapes and scratches on the floor. Place door mats at all exterior entrances and sweep or dust mop regularly to lift damaging dirt and debris. Preventive care will improve the appearance and longevity of your Duchateau vinyl floor.
