Classrooms and cafeteria chairs often have angled back legs that are round or square tubular design. The 6125 tubing glide from Flexifelt will fit the straight front legs and angled back legs so the chairs sit squarely on the floor preventing scratches on the floor surface. The 6125D is light beige with a charcoal grey felt pad bottom that slides easily on a hard surface floor to minimize scuff and scrape damage to the floor. The 6125 tubing glide fits tubular metal chair legs, 1-inch diameter, or 24mm, that do not have a swivel foot. The tubing, 2-5/8 inches high, fits securely around the chair leg keeping it firmly in place during use and the flexibility of the patented design allows just enough bend to accommodate angled chair legs. The thick felt pad that comes in contact with the floor is made from a durable wool blend for long term use. The dark felt pad is inset from the edge of the flexible fitted tube so it's hard to see the felt it once it's fitted onto the chair legs.
Flexi Felt 6125D chair glide provides a range of positive benefits from reduced wear and tear scratching and dulling on the floor, less noise by chairs pulling in and out to lower floor maintenance expenses. Installing the 6125D tubing-style glide is quick and easy and, once properly in place, will stay firmly put during use of the tables and chairs. If chairs are intended to be stacking chairs, the flexifelt 6125 will not interfere.
Uses for the 6120 Series Flexifelt floor protector, including the 6125D, are K-12 schools, colleges, assisted living facilities, medical offices and hospitals along with business spaces such as hotel meeting rooms and corporate lunch rooms. These fitted glides with felt bottom pads prevent damaging wear on hard surface flooring including LVT, VCT, hardwood, laminate, rubber, sheet vinyl, cork and more.
