High-gloss floors are beautiful in commercial environments, such as corporate building lobbies and healthcare facility waiting areas, but they tend to show imperfections. With Hilway Direct Plus GLOSS Floor Finish and Cleaner/Maintainer you can achieve that desirable high-shine luster with a more durable layer of protection against scuffs and scratches for high-traffic areas.
Recommended for use on
sheet vinyl, VCT, cork, rubber, linoleum, LVT, slate, concrete, non-PVC floors, quarry tile, marble, terrazzo and asphalt tile, Hilway Direct Plus Gloss adds high-performance scratch resistance against daily traffic. The PLUS GLOSS formula is designed to outperform traditional acrylic finishes, three to five times longer, with proper care. This one-step clean & finish formula provides a faster way to rejuvenate shine while cleaning the floor, significantly reducing strip/refinish cycles and the caustic chemicals used in the process and minimizing downtime for the facility.

Initial floor finish application: Sweep then damp mop floor to remove loose dirt and debris then wash floor completely using Hilway Direct Neutral Cleaner or Allsafe Stripper or flooring manufacturer's recommended product. If flooring has a factory or site-applied acrylic coating, remove coating following flooring manufacturer's instructions. This usually can be done using Hilway Direct Allsafe Stripper diluted 1:5 or 1:10 with clean water in an auto scrubber or low rpm swing machine with a red scrub pad or equivalent; or use finish remover as specified by flooring manufacturer. Rinse floor thoroughly with clean water after removing old coating or cleaning to completely remove cleaning solution and dirt. Do not let stripper solution dry on floor. Shake flooring finsh vigorously for 30 seconds and let it settle in bottle for 5 minutes. Apply undiluted in a thin, even coat using a microfiber applicator mop. Do not use treated dust mops. Apply 2-3 coats, allowing each coat to air dry completely before applying next coat, approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Finished floor needs to cure overnight before heavy traffic use. Dry times will vary depending upon temperature and humidity in the facility.
Routine cleaning/maintenance - mop and bucket or auto scrub machine: Sweep floor. Combine 1 ounce of maintenance solution into a gallon of warm water. Mop using a 2-bucket system or auto scrub floor machine. Pick up dirty solution left on floor with a clean, well wrung mop. Trail mop wet areas behind scrubber. Allow floors to air dry completely. DO NOT RINSE after cleaning.
Spray Buff: Dilute 1:5 with water in spray bottle. Spray floor. Buff with white pad on a (175-350 rpm) rotary buffing machine or wipe evenly with a clean microfiber mop.
