Don't use any old block of wood to secure Kahrs floor boards in place, use Kahrs Handblock - 710266, Knocking Block, because it is specially designed for installing Kahrs Woodloc, Tongue & Groove and Activity floor boards. This Kahrs installation tool has a long flat side and an opposing grooved long edge and is used to knock or tap the long joint of Kahrs Woodloc pre-finished wood planks together. For the installation of Kahrs Tongue & Groove Wood Flooring, the knocking block is used to engage the groove with the tongue. Never tap the groove side or top surface layer of your Tongue & Groove floor boards!
Using this seemingly simple tool provides the right type of edges that won't damage your Kahrs floor while you knock boards into place.
