Takiron specifically recommends Hilway Direct floor care products for use on Takiron Pathways, MT Sheet, Stair Treads and WELS Sheet flooring. You may use gentle yet effective Hilway Direct Neutral Cleaner during initial cleaning, preventative cleaning, routine maintenance and periodic deep cleaning. Hilway Direct finishes and strippers are also appropriate for use on all of these Takiron flooring types. Takiron also recommends floor machine scrubbing for routine maintenance. Use 3M Floor Machine Pads for routine and deep cleaning.
To prevent floor scrapes and scratches from the daily movement of chairs and more, install felt bottom protective pads under furniture. Reduce tracked-in dirt and wet weather mess by placing commercial quality doormats at each exterior entrance to the building. These preventive measures will go a long way in protecting the floor from damage.
